Preventive Medicine

The Preventive Medicine feature allows you to filter, track and remind patients of important Health Maintenance check-ups.

This area of the program is completely flexible and allows you to create a "rule-funnel" of multi-variable criteria based on the sex, age, family history and personal history of the patient.

Advance notification can be set for each rule and the Preventive Medicine scheduling dialog allows users to filter by date and even export demographics to merge reminder letters and envelopes in Microsoft Word.

The Mammogram example shows High, Medium and Low Risk rules - each with specific age ranges and visit frequencies. The program references the patient against the high risk criteria and if it does not match, it checks against the medium risk criteria, or through the rest of the "rule-funnel" until a match is made. Then the patient is scheduled based on the age ranged and frequency of their risk level.
